    The portable mechanical one seems like the classic “good at one job, bad at another” product. Battery-free access sounds great for travel or a car, but if the resistance to prying/crushing/cable theft is meaningfully lower, I wouldn’t want to fool myself into thinking it’s equivalent to the Viking.
