    • The GB50 is a meaningful size and weight increase over the GB40, but at roughly 3.3 pounds it is still easy to store in a trunk organizer, under-seat bin, or roadside kit. The GB70 is more naturally a trunk, truck, or shared-use pack; the GB40 remains the easiest one to keep in a small vehicle full-time.

    • I keep my GB50 in a small zip case beside the spare in a Corolla. It is not tiny, but it has never felt cumbersome. I picked it over the 40 because I do a lot of winter highway driving.
